5k non-competitive walk and 5k competitive run: The flagship event of the day is the CATwalk 5k, a 3.1 mile family-friendly walk. Thousands will walk with the Lute Olson family in a celebration of wellness, health, and fitness.
The Olson family kicks off CATwalk on the UA mall with music and fanfare. Teams of walkers and UA Athletics members encourage each other along the way, keeping track of their progress with the “paw” mile markers, and enjoying refreshments at the water stops. Finishing the walk, participants pass through a congratulatory arch on their way to the Expo & Celebration.
